This role is ideal for a bilingual professional passionate about clean architecture, cloud-native development, performance tuning, and delivering secure, reliable solutions.

📅 6-month contract – Opportunity to make a direct impact on high-level digital solutions.
📍 Hybrid model – You will be expected to work 1 day per week (Wednesdays) from the office.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for enterprise-grade applications.

• Integrate backend services with AWS infrastructure (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS).

• Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to build scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Optimize database operations: queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, Product, QA) to ensure smooth delivery.

• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and related frameworks.

• Operate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Support observability and monitoring using Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.

• Work in Unix/Linux environments for deployments and troubleshooting.

🧠 What You’ll Bring (Must-Have)

• Bilingual proficiency (English C1+) with ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java.

• Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals: Collections, Streams, Lambdas, functional programming, concurrency, and error handling.

• Proven expertise in Spring Boot & Spring MVC.

• Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Advanced skills in relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) and PL/SQL.

• Experience deploying and integrating with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).

• Proven experience in performance optimization and scalability (SQL tuning, memory management, high-load services).

• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git.

• Comfort working in Unix/Linux environments.

💡 Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL (design and implementation).

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and static code analysis.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).

• Understanding of cloud security best practices.
