ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Senior Associate, Communications and Program, Alliance for Social Trust will support the initiative’s communication strategy, manage digital content and outreach, and ensure the smooth operation of core administrative systems while interacting with a range of partners and internal and external stakeholders.
This position will report to the Senior Director, Alliance for Social Trust. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. This is a hybrid, Washington, DC-based position. Selected candidates are expected to work in person at the Washington, DC office approximately two days per week.
At this moment, this is a time-restricted role set to end May 31, 2027, with the potential to extend pending funding and manager approval.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Communications and Program Support
- Assist with the Alliance for Social Trust communications strategy and maintain a content calendar to align with program goals, events, and milestones;
- Support the creation of original content such as blog posts, newsletters, or talking points;
- Track and report on communications metrics, such as email open rates, social media reach, and event attendance, to inform future strategy;
- Liaise with key stakeholders—including Aspen Institute Communications, Aspen Digital Communications, Alliance for Social Trust leadership, partners, and external vendors—to coordinate communications and branding materials for events (e.g., presentation slides, signage, and other collateral);
- Ensure all materials align with the program’s branding and messaging guidelines;
- Draft, edit, and schedule content for social media channel(s);
