In this role, you will provide expert maintenance leadership and management to the execution teams for Utilities, SAP & Infrastructure Maintenance. You will lead the activities of BASF and Contract employees for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of Routine, Turnaround, and Outage maintenance. This includes mechanical, instrument, and electrical maintenance, along with the work processes. This position must foster a culture of continuous improvement and create a positive work environment. This position must understand the MPI process and be able to work within budgetary constraints. 

As a Senior Area Maintenance Manager, You Create Chemistry By...

 

• Leveraging your educational and professional background in Mechanical or a related technical discipline, you will lead the development of area maintenance goals, ensure implementation, monitor effectiveness, and take necessary actions to meet overall business objectives.
• Establishing a culture of safety, by embracing BASF and industry standards for environmental, health, and safety compliance.
• Leading a cross-functional professional team, you will set goals for staff consistent with business and department needs and hold them accountable for delivering results. In addition, you will provide coaching and direction to ensure they successfully meet individual objectives and key team performance metrics.
• Your strong commitment to continuous improvement will be a valued asset as you support the development of reliability targets consistent with business needs and recommend actions to achieve committed results.
• Managing talent development and succession planning for staff, including team development, and building and maintaining an engaged workforce.
• Successfully engaging across the organization, you will ensure all aspects of the maintenance execution work processes are followed including notification, prioritization, planning, scheduling, execution, feedback, and reliability.
• Partnering with Asset Management, Procurement, and Contractor Management to optimize BASF processes.
• Your broad-based experience in maintenance, reliability, and mechanical integrity technical systems and processes will be critical as execute routine, turnaround, and outage maintenance in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline
• 10+ years of Maintenance Management
• Solid record of safety achievement and culture
