Description:

As a Senior Architect, Magento you will play a key role in defining and implementing innovative eCommerce strategies for our clients. Your expertise in Magento will be critical in driving the success of eCommerce projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless integration with various systems.  You will provide technical operations leadership to multiple teams of developers in a mixed environment of onshore / offshore / client resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Architect and Deliver enterprise level eCommerce solutions on Adobe Magento Commerce.
• Perform technical analysis of client requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Build 3rd party systems integrations (ERP, Payment gateways, 3PL…etc)
• Adhere to best practices for security and PCI compliance
• Work actively with the Sales Support team to build Proposals and SOWs for new Magento opportunities.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Manage multiple teams of developers with different objectives and timelines by providing oversight of technical architecture of multiple solutions fitting client’s industry standards, use cases, strategy and technical needs.
• Work with technical leads, other architects to ensure solutions optimally utilizes Adobe tools and supports clients use cases, strategy and industry standards.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery / project management of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Lead cross-functional project core teams to on-time development & implementation, while maintaining or exceeding quality standards and estimated cost projections.
• Manage program resources, identify and track action items and assign tasks to appropriate team members utilizing best practices.
• Break down Customer strategies into phased road-maps according to customer priorities, industry best practices and technology prerequisites and dependencies.
• Align road-map phases to executable use cases.
• Make recommendations on tools, services, offerings, etc. to client for additional engagements for Credera and the Adobe Practice
• Review project milestones to pre-emptively identify issues and address before negative impacts to the project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications: (Adobe) Magento 1 & 2 developer, Architect…etc preferred

• 8+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce development.
• 3+ years of architecture and solutions design, implementation and integration experience.
• Magento Cloud experience is a plus
• Thorough functional and code level knowledge of all Magento products and all relevant commerce technologies
• Experience building major 3rd party systems integrations (ERPs, Payment Gateways, 3PL, etc.)
• Experience in identifying and implementing performance optimizations, understanding scalability concepts
• In-depth knowledge of web-application security vulnerabilities and how to avoid them, understanding PCI compliance concepts
• Good experience on Caching & Performance improvement.
• Solid understanding of business strategy
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
