This position serves as the Senior Application Developer supporting the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) performing a full range of activities to ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence for IDHS programs. In this role, you will engage in complex web application development, testing, and implementation tasks. As a Senior Software Developer, you will write, debug, test, and document new programs and enhancements to existing applications using .Net, and various web technologies to identify and resolve system issues. Additionally, you will provide technical support, guidance, and training to junior programmers and analysts in .Net, and related tools. You'll also implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms, actively participating in agile ceremonies, and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.
