SENIOR ANALYST, TECHNICAL REPORTING
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare Annual Reports for various states which require the filing
Prepare Florida Surcharge filings and other miscellaneous Auto and Other Surcharge reports
Prepare various types of US Census filings
Assist Compliance with various Data Calls through providing/reconciling technical data
Coordinate the external IFRS audit and the insurance carrier Statutory audit, including liaison with internal and external teams, monitoring progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule, controlling system access, delivering PBC items and scheduling weekly meetings.
Coordinate the IL DoI Financial Exam, partnering with cross-functional departments and ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery of all requests
Assist with implementing Finance projects, including underwriting system migration, user acceptance testing, reporting automation, process enhancement and other
Develop and implement controls over related processes with a focus on driving efficiency, accuracy and thorough documentation
Any ad hoc assignment as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate reporting, public accounting, or a combination of both; insurance industry experience desired
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP; knowledge on Statutory principles desired
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Possesses intermediate to advanced Excel skills, knowledge of SQL, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites and corporate ERP systems
Ability to identify patterns and variances in complex data sets and processes to rapidly distil key issues and provide insight in various scenarios
Must be detail-oriented and result-driven with a high degree of accuracy
Must be a team player and self-motivated

Salary Range: $90-$110k
The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
**Please note that this position is hybrid and requires two (2) days in our office weekly**
