Role Description
At Oak Street, Population Health drives both our clinical and economic model and is focused on delivering high-quality, cost-effective care. The Analyst, Stars Analytics role reports to the Senior Manager of Population Health and is responsible for supporting Stars and patient engagement efforts.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This role requires cross-team collaboration within Population Health and other corporate teams (e.g., Managed Care Operations, Business Intelligence, Clinical Operations, etc.), partnership with clinical and operational field leaders, and regular communication with senior leadership.
Core Responsibilities:
Under direction of Sr Manager and in partnership with range of critical stakeholders, including field and executive leaders:
Business Analytics: Work closely with our business analysts to derive key insights on Oak Street’s quality performance; identify opportunities to drive results and ensure Oak Street is pacing well towards end-of-year performance targets.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Product, Data, and other Population Health leaders, to drive Oak Street’s overall quality improvement efforts.
Change Management: Anticipate change within the Stars program, and its impact on our care teams, patients, and key stakeholders; develop appropriate strategies to minimize disruption.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey updates to field leaders, care teams, and leadership, including status reports, dashboards, and presentations to all stakeholders.

What we’re looking for
2+ years of consulting, business analytics, and/or other applicable experience in healthcare
Analytical and data savvy
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience working with large datasets
Experience/proficiency in SQL is a plus
Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration with key stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement
Someone who is a self-starter
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables
Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product
Quick learner and someone who is comfortable with a high level of ambiguity
Bachelor degree required

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
