The Opportunity

Senior Analyst Quantitative Modeler will be responsible for delivering complex analysis and building / applying statistical models for consumer auto products (i.e. loans and lease) in Ally's Auto Finance Line of Business.  Quantitative modeling projects include loss forecasting, residual value forecasting, consumer acquisition scorecards, and portfolio analytics to support the goals and objectives of Ally Bank's Automotive Lines of Business.   Work closely with business partners and leadership from pricing, and other business functions to design, build, test, and deliver quantitative solutions.  Candidates should have strong technical skills (i.e. statistical modeling, data science, machine learning, programming in Python and SQL), strong communication skills, a curious / creative mindset, and a strong work ethic.

The Work Itself

  • Responsible for building statistical models and conducting quantitative analysis to support Ally's Automotive Loan and Lease business.
  • Emphasis on applying a strong data science technical skillset to complex consumer behavior business subject matter and develop quantitative modeling solutions for business partners.
