Corporate Coverage Company is the accounting division for a family of waste disposal and recycling service entities. Privately owned and operated since 1976, the conglomerate maintains a physical presence in six states and rapidly growing metropolitan areas, including but not limited to Chicago, Memphis, Clearwater, Orlando and San Antonio. 

Sr Accountant/Controller

This position will oversee and contribute to the Accounting function for multiple Recycling company locations. This individual will work on inventory, weekly performance reports, trending costs, partner closely with ownership and more. The responsibilities include –

· Responsible for commodity inventory review and accounting management for multiple locations.

. Conduct month end closing and review financials books.

· Review weekly performance reports for multiple locations.

· Confirm duty compliance of office staff.

· Manage/Supervise office staff which includes managing & conducting performance reviews, training newly hired direct reports, and assisting in recruiting within the Department. All of the Accountant’s direct reports currently work out of the same location.

· Responsible for trending costs and establishing cost reduction plans

· Responsible for budgets, trending analysis, resolving variances.

· Assist in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

· BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required

· Minimum of 7 years of experience

· Previous supervisory experience

· Multi-tasker with strong organizational skills

· Experience working with budgets

· Skill in analyzing trends/variances

· Ability to work well in a deadline oriented environment

· Working knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office products including advanced Excel

. Manufacturing/services/recycling industry experience a plus

  Annual Salary Range: $100,000-150,000 depending on experience
