Essential Functions:

Prepare and record monthly journal entries.

Perform general ledger and subsidiary ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Maintain financial records and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Manage and maintain the Company’s fixed assets.

Research account discrepancies and recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Develop and prepare reports requiring integration of data from multiple systems and sources.

Prepare accurate and timely internal financial reports for management review.

Provide technical support and guidance to accounting and support staff.

Participate in the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting activities.

Support interim and annual audit activities by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ability to work cross-functionally, think critically, problem-solve, manage processes, challenge existing workflows, and think creatively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate across Sierra Instruments and TASI Measurement on intercompany transactional activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain availability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple time zones.
- Represent TASI Measurement in an ethical, professional, and business-like manner in all interactions with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and the broader business community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- CMA or CPA, a plus.
- Solid knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of complex accounting transactions; PPV, Consolidations, FX; and standards; ASC 606, 842.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly in a manufacturing environment. EPICOR a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; particularly Excel and Power BI.
