Essential Functions: 

• Prepare and record monthly journal entries.

• Perform general ledger and subsidiary ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain financial records and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Manage and maintain the Company’s fixed assets.

• Research account discrepancies and recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Develop and prepare reports requiring integration of data from multiple systems and sources.

• Prepare accurate and timely internal financial reports for management review.

• Provide technical support and guidance to accounting and support staff.

• Participate in the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting activities.

• Support interim and annual audit activities by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate across Sierra Instruments and TASI Measurement on intercompany transactional activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain availability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple time zones.
• Represent TASI Measurement in an ethical, professional, and business-like manner in all interactions with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and the broader business community.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
• CMA or CPA, a plus.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of complex accounting transactions; PPV, Consolidations, FX; and standards; ASC 606, 842.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly in a manufacturing environment. EPICOR a plus.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; particularly Excel and Power BI.

• California driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
