About the role

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role has excellent growth potential.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and review monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance and assist with the creation of new internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Support external audits and tax filings, including providing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Preparation of various reports including but not limited to sales reports, variance analyses, internal audits, and ad hoc reports.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in automation and streamlining efforts.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

  • This position takes place in an office environment.


Requirements

Qualifications needed to perform this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA a plus).
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Highly motivated, driven, organized.
  • Self-starter attitude.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with regular working hours based on the needs of the business
