Join our dynamic and collaborative finance team as a Senior Accountant, where you’ll play a key role in shaping our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and accountability, and supporting strategic growth.
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you'll be a trusted partner in managing our day-to-day accounting activities, driving continuous improvement, and helping us scale with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Assist with cash flow management to support company operations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
- Review and implement internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Participate in system improvements and process enhancements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation (preferred).
- Prior experience in a corporate accounting or public accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with accounting software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics, Sage or similar systems).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
