Are you an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity?

We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school near Cromer, Norfolk, working within a Year 3 class.

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity, initially on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to support pupils with their learning, development and individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils within a Year 3 SEND classroom.
Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
Helping pupils engage with learning and classroom activities.
Supporting communication, social and emotional development.
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
Creating a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Caring, patient and approachable.
Has previous experience in a SEND environment
Passionate about supporting children with SEND.
Resilient and able to remain calm and positive.
Enthusiastic and willing to get involved.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Experienced in working with children with SEND or keen to develop their experience within a specialist setting.Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working within a SEND environment would be advantageous, but the right attitude and commitment are equally important.
