As a Security Professional - Flex - Defense Site - Part Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This position requires you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access and directions as needed while maintaining site protocols.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergency situations or investigations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security experience 
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by
