As a Security Professional - Flex Access Control in Elm Grove, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling assigned logistics and distribution locations. You will interact with visitors and employees, verify credentials, and respond to alarms while providing outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:
Part - Time On-call/Fill-In Security Officer
What You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel with inquiries related to access procedures and site guidelines.
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Document and report any observed irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal and location protocols.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed.
- Communicate professionally with location staff and management, as well as Allied Universal supervisors, regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
