As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while bringing an agile, reliable, innovative approach and acting with integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, storefront perimeters, and other assigned sections of the property to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report issues through proper channels.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and general presence throughout the location to help to support order and a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
