As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Access Control in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Security Professional specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and managing badge access. Your presence will help to deter unauthorized activities, while your attentive customer service will support a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. You will also interact with alarm panels and utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document incidents and communicate with your team. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry and exit at the location, in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Complete reports and documentation of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to promote a secure environment.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
