As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that works together with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors entering and leaving the manufacturing location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and collect access badges and communicate access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
