As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry when required, while maintaining a professional presence and providing directions or assistance to visitors.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, patrol activities, unusual occurrences, and other security-related matters in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
