What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and assist with access control, loss prevention support, and incident reporting in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
