As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, completing required reports, and assisting with investigations related to incidents, property issues, and/or workplace concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
