Summary/Objective

Holders of this management position possess strong leadership skills and work ethic, excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze and assess risks, knowledge of security technologies and practices, and experience managing personnel. He/she understands the importance of providing a supportive work environment for their staff. 

Essential Functions

Manage security and transportation personnel and ensure appropriate staffing levels and training programs are in place

Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to security and transportation.

Assist with the development of crisis management plans and response protocols.

Ensures patrols of designated areas following outlined security procedures and develops randomized surveillance of district properties during all shifts.

Reviews and/or completes incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Must possess a valid security guard card issued for California.

Previous work in security.

Preferred Education and Experience

AA in Law Enforcement field focus is preferred.

Previous management experience preferred.
