As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Retail in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for visitors and tenants. You will perform routine patrols, respond to security-related situations, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This role requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving duties are part of the position. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual behavior, according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to customers, tenants, and staff within the location.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
