Job Description
The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Security Engineer Senior in Farmers Branch, TX with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems for up to three days per week, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. Participate in all aspects of PNC's Technology Security organization activities. Specific duties include: (i) designing, building, and maintaining computer systems technology solutions by leveraging technical knowledge and industry experience; providing subject matter expertise when applying security concepts; developing deliverables according to project timelines; (ii) working with computer systems architecture to take high-level architectural designs and determine the specifics around implementation details (e.g., sizing), components, integration details, onboarding, and operationalization; (iii) evaluating patches, updates, and ongoing systems maintenance; determining impacts to existing solutions when new standards are implemented; utilizing change control and other governance processes to ensure alignment and compatibility of system components; (iv) developing detailed implementation, configuration, design, and computer engineering documentation; building and implementing computer systems solutions; (v) collaborating with operational partners to enable transition and ensure day-to-day compatibility and supportability; and (vi) providing computer systems engineering support to existing technology in a production environment and collaborating with other groups as required; seeking opportunities to grow a broad knowledge base to complement specific subject matter expertise.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology plus 6 years of experience in Identity and Access Management security and administration including CyberArk Administration in or for the financial services industry is required. Must have experience with: (i) Vault Administration of Privileged Access Management solutions including CyberArk; (ii) bulk password administration including PACLI upload utility and PVWA REST APIs; (iii) implementation of secrets retrieval solutions leveraging CyberArk’s Application Access Management suite including, Conjur, Central Credential Provider, and Credential Provider Agents; (iv) configuration of Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA) detections and threat responses; (v) data visualization through implementation of Tableau metrics dashboards; (vi) development of custom Central Policy Manager (CPM) plug-ins leveraging the Plug-in Generator Utility (PGU); and (vii) developing PowerShell scripts specifically including the PSPAS module.
