DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Perform deployment, administration, monitoring, configuration, testing, and integration tasks related to JPMC’s cloud security platforms. Help develop new cloud security strategies and implementations for the firm. Champion a DevOps security model so that security is automated and elastic across all platforms. Support the Firm’s goals in secure cloud adoption through hands on interaction with development teams to cultivate a cloud first mindset in transitioning workloads. Provide support to develop and improve the quality of technical engineering documentation. Provide support to drive the maturity of the Cybersecurity software development lifecycle. Provide strategic advice by analyzing complex data systems and incorporating knowledge of other lines of business and JPMC standards. Ensure all engineering activities conform to JPMC policies and objectives. Participate in the development of product technology roadmap and engineering documentation. Participate in proof-of-concept research and development in line with emerging industry trends. Participate in product design, development, and transition to operations. Provide quality control of engineering deliverables. Provide technical consultation to product management. Provide technical interface between development and operations teams. Leverage DevOps tools to build, harden, maintain and instrument a comprehensive cloud-based security orchestration platform for infrastructure as code. Develop automated security and compliance capabilities in support of DevOps processes in a large- scale cloud computing environment. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Engineer Intern, or related occupation. Will accept pre- or post-Bachelor's degree experience.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Providing end to end design, development, testing and support throughout the entire software development lifecycle; Cloud development; AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, API gateway, DynamoDB KMS, CloudWatch, or EventsBridge; Network security and WAF signatures including CDN, Certificates, Rate controls, different WAF attacks, Bot management and web traffic protections; DevOps; Version controls, CI/CD pipelines, artifactory code library management and Terraform; programming in Python and Java. Will accept pre- or post-Bachelor's degree experience.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy., Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
