As a Scrum Master Sr. within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Birmingham AL, Phoenix AZ and Dallas TX.

As a Scrum Master Sr, you will be part of an Agile engineering team where you will be responsible for coaching engineering teams within the Remote Networking Team. Additionally, you will work with our product owners and team members to further develop software applications as a servant leader. This position would require fluidity and flexibility, as this is not a role with specific guidelines where you will perform the same tasks on a day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as Senior Scrum Master for the Infrastructure as a Service crew, with potential responsibility for two agile crews
• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies while ensuring consistent application of Agile and Scrum best practices
• Act as an Agile coach and mentor, helping teams continuously improve delivery, predictability, and collaboration
• Partner closely with Product Owners, BSAs, Quality Engineers, and stakeholders to drive alignment and value delivery
• Proactively identify and remove impediments, manage dependencies, and escalate risks as needed
• Support coordination across teams within the larger remote networking team
• Track team progress, metrics, and outcomes using Jira and Confluence, promoting transparency and data-driven decision-making
• Foster a high-performing, fast-paced team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
• Mentorship of other Scrum Masters to support Agile best practices

Required Qualifications
• Extensive experience as a Scrum Master, including work on large, complex initiatives
• Strong Agile leadership skills with the ability to guide mature teams and influence beyond the team level
• Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated experience using Jira and Confluence to manage and report on Agile delivery
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) strongly preferred

• Ensures team adherence to Agile principles. Provides coaching to the team(s), including newly formed teams, on how to execute the Scrum Framework. May provide guidance to less experienced Scrum Masters.
• Organizes and facilitates ceremonies, recommends and executes on improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and while mitigating risk. Tracks and communicates the overall team progress providing visibility to stakeholders.
• Takes a broader perspective to provide solutions to complex challenges. Serves as a filter to remove impediments to progress identified by the team(s). Protects the team(s) from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on Scrum Team priorities.
• Partners with the Product Owner(s) to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ready for the team(s).
