Job Overview:
The Scrum Master II is responsible for providing Agile facilitation and coaching to 2-3 Agile teams to
ensure the teams adopt and maintain high performing Agile delivery practices, and realize the value
intended. This role supports the following PMO service offerings:
Planning & Time Management
Risk & Issue Management
Stakeholder Management
Governance
Release Management.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates agile ceremonies: daily stand-up (scrum) meetings, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming / refinement, backlog sizing, and sprint planning
Understands and uses a variety of techniques to continuously optimize ceremonies and team participation and engagement
Identifies and helps to remove impediments, escalates impediments to the product and tech manager, recommends ways to resolve impediments, and influences leadership to take action on these recommendations
Helps team inspect and adapt process through retrospectives, data / metrics tracking, and creating a safe, trusting environment with space to grow
Coaching the team to higher levels of performance
Assists with internal and external communication and improving transparency by creating visible information radiators (burn-downs, velocity chart, etc.), dashboards, and demos
Track defects , ensure team is using the tools for updates
Co-orindate with release’s , follow up on change’s approvals, take ownership on release communications and support production deployment
Provides metric reports to assist in product roadmap planning

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of product or project development experience, or 5 years of project development experience on an
3 plus years hands on experience in using Jira, Confluence
Core Competencies:
Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
Experienced at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
Coaches the Agile delivery team on Agile mindset and methodologies, and relevant processes. Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
Has knowledge of prioritization. Is able to prioritize own work and to contribute to the prioritization of work of the team.
·Guides team members in understanding their role. Helps team identify and resolve conflicts, with help from others. Helps the team break down and deliver incremental work.
Consistently and transparently tracks and helps remove team impediments.
Ability to articulate complex messages to the team, exhibiting clarity, honesty and impact.
Influences the direction of PMO organization.
Brings Lean-Agile mindset to the work of the team and is comfortable challenging team thinking to bring in line with SAFe principles
Preferences:
Experience handling Hybrid team of Multi vendors and complex projects.
Agile Team or an equivalent combination of Agile Certification and work experience
Pay Range:
