Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Scrum Master who wants to prepare for and facilitate daily scrum meetings, biweekly sprint planning, review, retrospective, and backlog grooming meetings. We identify and leverage the latest techniques so that our customers can stay one step ahead. On every project you’ll learn something new (and likely teach us something as well). Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Scrum Teams and Product Owners to plan and deliver Epics, Features, and PBIs in each sprint and increment
- Ensure Scrum Team works at a sustainable and consistent pace
- Manage all Scrum Team activity in ADO
- Collaborate with Product Managers, System Architects, and other leaders to lead the SAFe Agile Release Train
Here's what you need:
- 3+ years experience as a Scrum Master
- 1+ year using Agile backlog management tool(s), preferably JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or experience on an Agile/Scrum team
Bonus points if you have:
- Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through; interest in and affinity to create new projects and see them through to completion
- Experience with implementing scrum for large scale, complex systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and creativity skills, able to maintain composure in a chaotic environment and promote a sensible and logical approach to issues
- Experience with Azure DevOps
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $105,200 - $168,400
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
