About the role

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Scheduling Coordinator to join our Radiology team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: To create schedules and other reports needed to staff the hospital on a 24-hour basis. Coordinates the staffing and information needs of the hospital while striving for enhanced staff satisfaction. Produces monthly staff schedules, processes employee time-off requests, validates time and attendance and monthly LDR; fills daily vacancies due to illness.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday.  5:30 AM - 2:00 PM.  No weekends or Holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

High School diploma, Post Secondary Education preferred. Background in business and/or staffing experience preferred.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

NA

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

PC and data entry skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize/manage a multitude of projects.

This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to HIPPA, FMLA, ADA, discrimination and harassment laws).

PC, Microsoft Word and Excel, pagers, multiple phone lines, staffing and scheduling system, e-paging, the Learning Point.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Background in staffing/scheduling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

NA

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Mathematical ability, problem solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and organization desired.
