You are:

The SAP Business Analyst - FI/FM is responsible for business process and system analysis, design/translating business requirements to technical requirements, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of components in an enterprise SAP environment. The SAP Business Analyst will work closely with architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and resposbilities. The SAP Business Analyst is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP modules and those that interface with other applications. The SAP Business Analyst has a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported. The SAP Business Analyst will provide change management and training support.

The work:

The Technical Business Analyst has the ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing/design business processes. The Technical Business Analyst is expected to develop technical expertise in various aspects of the delivery lifecycle including:

  • Helping identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases
  • Work closely with business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.
  • Serve as a liaison to the business community and technical team while participating in user and task analysis to maintain the business community 's perspective.
  • Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 2 year degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of SAP Business Analyst experience to include experience in SAP Finance (FI), Funds Management (FM)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Full lifecycle development using Waterfall, Agile
  • Must understand client business needs, gathering user stories and requirements and the understanding of testing phases
  • Must demonstrate knowledge with the functionality of applications and current computer technology

Bonus points if you have:

  • SAP functional/configuration experience; DoD or Public Sector SAP experience a plus
  • Client-facing experience
  • Knowledge of working with federal clients
  • Familiarity with SQL, and XML, environment a plus.
  • Familiarity with web and reporting technology is also a plus.

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

  • California: $82,400 - 154,800
  • Colorado: $82,400 - 133,700
  • New York: $76,300 - 154,800
  • Washington State: $87,800 - 142,300
