ROLE OVERVIEW:
Q2IMPACT is seeking a forward-thinking Salesforce Manager to join our expanding team in support of the Department of State’s Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT). The Salesforce Manager will drive technical leadership, solution design, and ongoing enhancement of the Program Information Sharing Module (PRISM)—the State Department’s core Salesforce-based platform for managing security sector assistance. This role will play a pivotal part in developing, configuring, and optimizing Salesforce capabilities to facilitate data-driven decision-making, streamline program management, and deliver impactful data visualizations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce-based solutions, including PRISM and its integration with Tableau and other analytical platforms.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand needs, map business processes, and translate requirements into scalable, user-friendly Salesforce functionalities.
- Design, document, and implement advanced workflows, automations (including business process mapping and SOP digitization), and document generation in Salesforce.
- Oversee Salesforce system configurations, user access controls, and ensure compliance with federal data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity standards, including for Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—data scientists, IT specialists, evaluation leads—to deliver integrated analytics, reporting tools, and visual dashboards.
- Maintain and update system documentation, standard operating procedures, and user reference guides to support adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical leadership for periodic platform updates, bug resolution, and the integration of third-party datasets and APIs.
- Coordinate and deliver Salesforce user training, change management, and day-to-day technical support, fostering strong client relationships and solving emerging technology challenges.
- Ensure robust quality assurance, data validation, and continuous improvement in alignment with government performance standards and project requirements.
- Track and report on system adoption, performance metrics, and support requests; actively contribute to project planning, audit support, and innovation initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, and solution development in a federal or large, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Demonstrated success translating client needs into technical requirements and delivering end-to-end Salesforce projects—including system integration, workflow automation, and data visualization.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Conga Composer, Conga Grid, GitHub, and Azure data tools strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting business process improvement, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and user training for U.S. Government or international development programs.
- Familiarity with federal IT and cybersecurity compliance standards; experience with SBU/PII data protection and FedRAMP environments.
- Proven ability to think critically, work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams, and drive iterative improvement in complex systems.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (required); advanced certifications such as Salesforce Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Developer a strong plus.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, current Active Secret security clearance preferred.
