Job Description
Sales Planning is critical to the success of our Sales team at Beyond and the Sales Planning Associate will be trusted with this responsibility across all regions and channels. This role involves management of all back-end sales support functions and systems. Including, but not limited to: NetSuite setup and maintenance, customer portal management, updating internal tracking documentation, serving as Sales point person for all Innovation efforts, ensuring sample requests are met, etc. The ideal candidate would be prepared to regularly "roll up their sleeves" across a broad range of both ongoing and ad-hoc responsibilities.
TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of customer portals and paperwork – completing in a timely manner in coordination with other functions, filing and maintaining current documents.
Coordinate Sales team approval on pricing structure in a timely manner.
Ensure ERP backup document filing system for ease of use, archiving documents, updating contracts and signatures, etc.
Management of outgoing Sales Sample requests
Co-ownership of sales owned POS/POP portal – including managing external relationship, maintaining stock levels, administrative duties of the portal, coding invoices, etc.
Updating customer ordering guidelines, price lists, sales director forms.
Work cross functionally with global sales channels and demand planning to understand, maintain and improve forecast accuracy.
Represent dedicated channel sales perspective and needs during NPI meetings, assist with project charters.
Budget tracking in conjunction with sales group.
Provide drivers and context for monthly sales channel analytics
Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc project efforts for dedicated sales channel
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:
BA/BS required.
1-2 years of CPG industry experience; in sales planning, sales or sales support.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various members of the team.ad
Ability to work collaboratively and to manage a wide variety of projects with tight deadlines.
Very detail oriented.
Ability to analyze situations or procedures & willingly communicate improvements or make meaningful decisions.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
At a minimum, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office-based with limited travel.
5 days/week onsite at BYND HQ location in El Segundo,
