Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Associate to join our dynamic team supporting Region Americas. The individual will own day-to-day CRM hygiene, data quality monitoring and remediation, basic dashboard/report maintenance, and run data-sanity projects. This position is an excellent launching pad for those eager to build a rewarding career in sales operations, business analytics, or commercial excellence, with opportunities to learn key business systems and gain exposure to the full sales process.
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA - 4 days in the office per week
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Support – Serve as the first point of contact for sales team Salesforce questions, troubleshoot basic issues, escalate complex cases, and document solutions for future reference.
- Data Quality & Integrity – Monitor, validate, and maintain accurate data for Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Install Base records. Identify and correct inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing information through reports and dashboards.
- Lead Management – Ensure all inbound leads are promptly and accurately routed to the correct sales owners.
- Exception Reporting – Build, update, and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports to track data gaps and provide actionable insights for sales.
- Data Cleanup Projects – Lead or participate in data-improvement initiatives, including install base updates, competitive equipment tracking, account segmentation, and market intelligence enrichment.
- Win/Loss Tracking – Capture and standardize win/loss reasons in Salesforce and gather related market insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Backup & Collaboration – Shadow the senior team members to learn advanced responsibilities and act as backup during absences; work closely with Commercial Operations, Sales, and cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Learning & Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance CRM processes, automation, and reporting. Develop skills in Salesforce, Qlik Sense, and the end-to-end sales process.
- Ad Hoc Support – Assist with special projects, analysis, and operational support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–2 years of professional experience, preferably in a role supporting a sales team or commercial function.
- Strong interpersonal skills, service-oriented mindset when working with sales teams and cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain data and processes clearly.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and follow through on solutions.
DESIRED:
- Basic familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Understanding of sales processes and sales performance metrics.
- Prior experience in data cleanup, reporting, or basic analytics.
