Job Description

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support the Sales team by providing data analysis, reporting and insights to optimize sales processes, enhance productivity and drive revenue growth. The position involves a blend of data management, process optimization and strategic decision-making. In this role, you also will prepare regular sales performance reports as well as develop customer tools and compile audits that highlight key metrics and the status of Lakeshore’s sales pipeline. Applicants should possess top-notch written and verbal communications skills. The ideal candidate can also juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy, in addition to possessing a basic understanding of SQL. 

A day in the office looks like this: 

• Create valuable audit insights based on designated sales activity requirements 
• Gather and organize sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement 
• Ensure data completeness and accuracy among all aspects of reporting 
• Manipulate data from multiple sources to create coherent reports 
• Assist in the maintenance of sales technology tools, such as CRM systems, sales analytics platforms and data visualization tools 
• Utilize visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to present information in easily digestible graphs and charts 
• Export data from Salesforce, data lakes, BI and/or company data tables based on the specific report requirements 
• Provide written and/or verbal analysis of gathered data to management team 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Bid Department and IT—to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy and integrity 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field 
• 2 years of background in Business Analysis, Data Science or related field   
• 2 years of experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar analytical role 
• Strong administrative skills and great attention to detail 
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Intermediate Excel skills and understanding of Power Query 
• Proven proficiency with Word and Outlook 
• Collaborative approach to producing great work
