About the Role:
The Sales Executive Business Development, is a critical partner facing role driving new business opportunities with strategic emphasis. Identify new opportunities for issuing, acquiring and money movement lines of business and grow sales with new relationships. Focused on growing the BaaS network leveraging existing network to access for new business opportunities and to make Pathward’s full value proposition known and understood.
What You Will Do:
- Identifies target list and acts on new business opportunities.
- Negotiates contract terms with new clients.
- Solicits new business and participates in Fintech community including industry events or other service programs to develop goodwill.
- Leverage consulting sales approach with partners and be the SME for their Debit/Prepaid Issuing, Acquiring & Money Movement needs. Accomplishes these duties while following bank policies and procedures.
- Qualify leads based on bank appetite and polices.
- Develop cross selling opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Demonstrates personal commitment to excellence in sales and service to customers and other employees.
- Actively participates in the bank's Performance Management System.
- Supports and embraces bank values.
- Maintains complete confidentiality with all bank business.
- Complies with all provisions of the Bank Security Act.
- Portrays leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others, effectively influences actions and opinions of others, accepts feedback from others, and gives appropriate recognition to others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- 5-7 years’ experience within BaaS, Fintech or Payments including 2-3 years in a Business Development role
- Experience in a banking environment is a plus
- Deep understanding of a variety of BaaS products, including issuing, acquiring and money movement and industry trends
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with polished and experienced presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of contractual terms, bank diligence and compliance framework.
- Excellent internal communication skills collaborating with multiple stakeholders to reach goals.
- Strong skills tracking and documenting sales stages, milestones and other important information using tools like Salesforce.
- Ability to work effectively while traveling and/or as a remote employee.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment.
- Ability to build and maintain a positive rapport with new and existing clients.
Salary range: $150,000
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
