Director, Sales Enablement

The Sales Enablement Director is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales enablement strategies that drive sales productivity and performance. This role involves creating effective tools, resources, training programs, and processes that empower the sales team to exceed revenue goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Design and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to understand objectives and align enablement efforts.
  • Create and manage sales enablement content, including playbooks, presentations, case studies, and competitive analyses.
  • Ensure content is accessible, up-to-date, and tailored to sales team needs.
  • Develop and lead onboarding programs for new sales hires to accelerate their ramp-up time.
  • Provide ongoing training to improve sales team knowledge of products, services, and market trends.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize sales tools (e.g., CRM systems, sales intelligence tools) to support the sales process.
  • Train sales teams on using tools effectively.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the success of sales enablement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps in sales performance and recommend improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment.
  • Gather feedback from sales teams to refine strategies and address challenges.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, sales enablement, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful sales enablement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, Gong, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  •  Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Experience:
 
  • Experience working in MSP industry
