Job Description Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering sales compensation analysis and insight to ensure our sales compensation plans are competitive, fair, and aligned with our business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, compensation structures, and data analysis

Job Description:

  • Partner closely with Compensation Design and Administration to deliver insights that inform design changes (cost modeling) and accruals and forecasting
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the compensation frameworks across Sales teams including the plan design and metrics being tracked as well as how the metrics are tied to Financial goals
  • Lead tracking and analysis of incentive plans, SPIFF program and exception requests
  • Own quota setting process-sales target translation to quotas for assigned segment
  • Perform quarterly analysis on compensation performance and how it is tied to financial performance for assigned segment/ market; key insights
  • Respond to Analytics requests related to measurement of incremental revenue and changes to quota, Other Ad-hoc analysis related to Sales Compensation
  • Partner with the Reporting/Sales Analytics team to set up Sales metrics tracking and access to underlying data
  • Provide support and training to sales teams on compensation plans and policies.

In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert within the Sales Compensation Analysis team. You will work closely with Sales Ops, Sales Leadership, Regional Finance teams and Sales Analytics teams to develop and deliver informative and actionable Sales Compensation analytics within assigned segments. You will develop and manage complex data and statistical models that provide insight into key metrics in determining sales compensation plan performance.   In this role, you may work with Sales, Finance, Revenue and Business Operations teams across Enterprise Sales, Inside Sales, Partner Sales and SME Sales teams within all regions to deliver key insights and analytics focused on PayPal’s global sales compensation plans. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst Sales Compensation Analytics will be responsible for delivering key analytics that support the design and implementation of effective global plans.  This role will manage quota setting and management for assigned segments
