Sales Analyst

Company Description

Reporting to the Sales Reporting Manager, you will help support the design, implementation, and distribution of our Sales Reports and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) integrating sales, finance, HR and marketing data. You will also understand essential business issues, gather data, conduct analysis, visualize and interpreting data while concurrently developing and streamlining dashboards, scorecards, and reporting.

Job Description

BUSINESS /DATA UNDERSTANDING 

Review and understand necessary internal data requirements

Review and interpret all current Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations data 

DATA PREPARATION 

Cleanse and structure data to ensure quality data outputs 

Prepare, interpret, and distribute all Sales reporting

Provide training to end-users on use of reports, identify ways to simplify and improve reporting 

MODELLING OF DATA  

Bring data together from multiple sources and build data connections, including ad hoc modeling

Determine all data modeling requirements needed to run regular and ad hoc reports  Test all data requirements before finalizing any form of reporting 

EVALUATION 

Document required procedures for all regular established reporting outputs 

Analyze data, interpret, and create presentations to make recommendations based on insights

Documentation, presentation, and review of analytical output 

DATA VISUALIZATION 

Create models and representations of our business with BI tools.

Develop visual dashboards by using UX/UI design principles.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience in a Data visualization role with UX/UI design understanding

Familiarity with relational databases/SQL and business operation software such as SAP & SAP BI

Basic knowledge of statistical measures and techniques

Experience working with large datasets through Access and Excel, statistical software such as SAS, R

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) and related techniques

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $84,000 + cash incentives

Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
