REPORTS TO: Transportation Manager
POSITION TYPE: 12-month
START DATE: January 2025
COMPENSATION: $21.98 - $25.83/hour, Home Office Grade 2

THE OPPORTUNITY
YES Prep needs a dynamic Transportation Coordinator with a diverse set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. To put it simply, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee all functions pertaining to the operation of the transportation department, including vendor personnel & equipment. The prime concern is safe, efficient, economical transportation of students between home and school on a regular schedule, and between other destinations within or outside the district boundaries for school events.
This position requires exceptional problem solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to acquire knowledge of transportation operations, policies, and procedures.

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work will include:
- Working with the Transportation Manager to route and schedule home-to-school routes for the district;
- Routing through routing software for adequate and efficient student ridership
- Overseeing and managing student rosters and bus summaries for all General Education, McKinney Vento, and Special Education students. In addition to following proper processes and procedures for the department.
- Assisting the Transportation Manager in managing the field trip management software for the district to ensure seamless communication and trip execution;
