Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Performs maintenance, repair, and construction of transportation assets

Completes equipment and truck inspections, maintenance, and repairs

Assists the Roads Superintendent with the completion of Department projects, projects for other departments, and Tribal Member Services

What you’ll need to be successful:

 

 

Operator 1

High School Diploma or GED

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum two (2) years of related experience

Minimum five (5) years of related experience

3

Must possess and maintain Commercial Driver License Class B, C, & D.  Must obtain Class A and endorsement N (Tanker) within the first year of employment.

Must possess and maintain Commercial Driver License Class A, B, C, D, with endorsement N (Tanker).

4

Experience operating skid steers or heavy equipment

Experience operating road graders, wheel loaders, skid steers, compactors, dozers, and excavators

5

Experience plowing snow

 

Experience with road maintenance & construction

6

 

Experience with winter road maintenance including plowing snow, applying sand, and applying salt

7

Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
