Icon Eyecare is looking for a Part Time RN for our Lone Tree Practice.

What you will do…

• Approach patients in a kind, gentle and friendly manner. 
• Give patients explanations and verbal reassurances consistently. 
• Utilize nursing procedures as a media for communication and interaction with patients. 
• Identify physical symptoms and changes and take appropriate action in a timely manner. 
• Complete treatments as ordered and in a timely manner. 
• Demonstrate knowledge of airway management and procedures and the ability to use the equipment. 
• Demonstrate ability to assess cardio-respiratory systems for changes and provide appropriate treatment. 

• Observe behavioral and physiologic changes due to medications, take appropriate actions, and document. 
• Adjust and act upon patients’ responses to medications appropriately. 
• Demonstrate the ability to provide specific care to postoperative adult patients. 
• Conduct medical/surgical asepsis during treatments and special procedures. 
• Conduct safety measures to prevent the patient from harming him/herself or others. 
• Coordinate patient care; gives explanations and teaching to patient/family, as necessary. 
• Protect patients’ sensitivities and right to privacy. 
• Demonstrate knowledge of anesthetic drugs, actions, and side effects. 

What we require…

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
• Current ACLS certification or ability to get within the first 90 days of employment
• Current BCLS certification preferred
