The Hospital at Home RN Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing BILH Hospital at Home operations during the off-shift, including direct oversight of the clinical care schedule and logistics for all patients on service and being considered for admission. The RN Operations Supervisor has a strong interest in clinical and logistic operations. The role supports frontline command center and field staff in executing the care plan and logistics for patients in a way that’s optimal for the whole program. The RN Operations Supervisor provides consistent feedback to educate and improve skills of staff in an ongoing way.Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
● Oversee operations during off-shift hours (afternoons, evenings, and/or nights) including weekend call rotation. ● Ensure field logistics and scheduling support optimal service to Hospital at Home patients taking into account factors as listed below, including but not limited to: o New admissions & discharges ▪ Including supporting optimizing the clinical schedule to serve a patient being considered for admission; o Key patient care visit timing; o Clinical specifics; o Geography & traffic patterns; o Start and end location and timing of field staff; o Needs of brick-and-mortar teams including patient travel to brick and mortar for planned and unplanned needs. ● Support staff in managing patient and family needs. ● Manage prioritization for the command center and field team with clinical triage skills with a focus on patient safety. ● Support orientation of new employees. ● Serve as a clinical and educational resource for front line staff. ● Assist with the on-going and annual education of all staff. ● Help maintain annual competencies for all staff. ● Contribute to the development of educational content for new programs or processes. ● Collaborate with leadership on quality safety and performance improvement initiatives. ● Participate in providing structured and unstructured education to frontline staff related to Hospital at Home workflows and operational logistics. ● Encourage professional growth in a culture of continuous learning

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: • BSN Degree is required
Licensure, Certification &
Registration: • A current Massachusetts RN license • BLS certification
Experience: • Five (5) years RN experience • Hospital at Home experience preferred • Charge nurse experience preferred • Experience with education preferred
Skills, Knowledge &
Abilities: • Understanding of clinical triage and prioritization. • Ability to prioritize multiple logistic and clinical demands and support a team of clinicians caring for patients in person and virtually. • Requires knowledge/proficiency with Electronic Medical Records as well as demonstrates comfort with technology and ability to integrate into patient care processes. • Demonstrates ability to educate a clinical team in a collaborative and communicative environment. • Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and manage the utilization of resources. • Able to promote patient safety and a positive patient experience • Flexible and comfortable with a changing and dynamic work environment and schedule across all shifts and days • Team player who also works well independently • Participates in and enhances ongoing learning and continuing education to care for a variety of patient populations • Collaborate, advocate and mentor others with a professional, non-condescending manner
