Scope of work
The Trauma Program Manager is an RN responsible for monitoring and coordinating all trauma services and system elements to ensure an organized multidisciplinary team approach to quality care of the trauma patient. This involvement begins with pre-hospital care and extends though reintegration into society. This Team Member will report to the Administrative Director of Surgical Services and/or the Trauma Medical Director.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY will include Trauma program practice, administration, education, quality improvement, and research.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) Required.
- Master's degree (MSN) Preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience, a Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Center experience and an additional 3 years in EC/Critical Care nursing and/or management experience Required.
- Experience in education program development Preferred.
- Experience in research methodology Preferred.
- Experience with trauma registry Preferred.
- MI RN license Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required.
- ENA Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Required.
- ENA Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) Required.
