RN - Chittenango

Oneida Health is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work days (8am - 4:30pm) for its Chittenango Family Care Office. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care and performing nursing services requiring specialized judgment and skills in a fast-paced medical office environment. You will be supervised by the providers in the practice and may be responsible for providing guidance to Medical Assistants on occasion. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while treating patients with kindness and consideration.

What You’ll be Great At:

Providing compassionate care and treatment to patients with a customer service attitude. Being a keen observer while collecting and recording data about the patient. Seeking assistance from RN when needed in patient care. Working quickly and efficiently. Taking a proactive approach to unit situations and addressing needs of patients, family members, co-workers, and the department. Demonstrating strong computer skills. Your Essential Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Associate of Nursing (Required)
  • Bachelor’s of Nursing (Preferred)
• License:
  • New York RN (Required)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Preferred)
• Experience:
  • Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)
