Description of Work
The primary purpose of this position is to provide program consultation, implementation coordination, and operational management for behavioral health initiatives under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). RHTP is a five-year federal grant awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes in rural communities.This position facilitates planning and implementation activities that advance program goals and grant objectives. The position works closely with program leadership, implementation partners, and internal operational teams to translate program requirements into processes, implementation strategies, reporting structures, and program deliverables that promote successful execution of grant-funded initiatives.
The position coordinates implementation activities across internal and external partners, monitors progress toward program deliverables, develops program reports and documentation, and contributes to the development of processes that promote effective implementation, program integrity, fiscal accountability, and achievement of grant requirements.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade Range: $52,592.00 - $92,036.00
Recruitment Range: $52,592.00 - $72,314.00

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Working knowledge of mental health service systems.
Experience supporting program implementation, including planning, coordination, monitoring, and program improvement.
Strong project management skills including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and reporting activities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to partner with evaluation staff to build data and reporting structures and use data to inform program improvements and decision-making, combined with the ability to interpret and apply federal and state policies, rules, and guidance to program operations.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to varied audiences and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders to promote program goals and gain buy-in.
