Responsibilities:


RF Measurements:

  • Perform precise RF measurements using Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers.

  • Conduct tests to evaluate the performance of RF components and systems.  

  • Generate detailed reports based on measurement data.


Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues in RF systems down to the component level.

  • Identify root causes of RF performance problems and implement effective solutions.  

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop troubleshooting strategies and methodologies.


Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain and calibrate RF measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and other RF instruments.


Documentation:

  • Document test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps in a clear and concise manner.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of equipment calibration and maintenance.


Support and Collaboration:

  • Provide technical support to engineering and development teams on RF-related issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into product designs.  

  • Support Production builds as needed.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with advancements in RF technology and measurement techniques.

  • Contribute to the improvement of RF testing processes and methodologies.


Qualifications:
 

Required:

 
Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in RF engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience with Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers.  

  • Experience in troubleshooting RF systems down to the component level.  

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of RF principles and measurements

  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment and software.  

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


Desired:

  • Experience with RF design and simulation software (e.g., ADS, HFSS).

  • Familiarity with wireless communication standards (e.g., Cellular, WiFI, etc.).

  • Experience with minor software development using LabView or Python.
