Position Summary

CVS Health is currently hiring an Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle Analytics Team. In this position, you will support analytics activity and business reporting needs for operational and financial metrics related to our pharmacy, infusion, and Minute Clinic operations. Leveraging prior experience and working closely with the Revenue Cycle management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of our analytics strategy.

This position will support intake, execution, and delivery of routine and ad-hoc analytics requests from various stakeholders including Pharmacy Operations, Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable Operations, Sales, Underwriting, Contracts and Pricing, Finance, Accounting, Vendors, Compliance, Audit, and Executive Leadership. It will leverage various analytical tools and skills, duties include routine extraction, consolidation, summarization, visualization, quality review, and delivery of data from various and potentially disparate source systems.

This role will drive the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of leadership facing Tableau dashboards that summarize and benchmark various revenue cycle performance metrics and deviations from expected/targeted trends.

This role will participate in the development of comprehensive workflow solutions that support the expansion our analytics strategy, including the development of process improvement and self-service data solutions, report automation, and exception monitoring innovations.

This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities and developing solutions to drive process improvement through reporting and automation. It will also be responsible for proactively identifying, diagnosing, and trending issues and opportunities within the department through the development of data visualizations, dashboards, reports, and analyses.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Business Administration) or 2+ years equivalent relevant analytical work experience

  • 6 months of experience developing dashboards using Tableau or equivalent visualization software


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau or equivalent visualization software

  • Hands-on analytical work experience designing, building, and evaluating analytical datasets with strong focus on action-oriented outcomes

  • Problem solving and analytic ability – be able to understand the big picture and determine impacts to the business

  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to gather and analyze needs and requirements to design and implement robust analytic solutions that support the identified needs

  • Experience trouble shooting, performance tuning, and resolving issues with Tableau dashboards

  • Experience providing business-related/and or technical subject matter expertise on large, highly complex reporting projects and business analytics to support management, multi-functional departments, staff members and peers

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management

  • Excellent technical skills to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment and good communication and interpersonal skills are a must

  • Agile mindset and belief in delivering smaller projects more quickly in order to provide value and gain feedback

  • Ability to quickly develop knowledge and understanding of new domains and underlying data sources

  • Independent problem solver with a strong desire to learn new skills

  • Proven ability to drive speed and innovation



Education
