Job Summary
Supports the day-to-day operations of the branch in providing customer service. Processes return purchase order credits from vendors. (RMPOs). Researches and resolves discrepancies in quantity and pricing on non-stock items.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Processes customer returns, oversees damage and defective inventory returns, while being the branch lead for CMI-VMI.
- Processes return purchase order credits from vendors. (RMPOs)
- Researches and resolves discrepancies in quantity and pricing on non-stock items.
- Oversees cash deposits for branch and branch cash box accuracy
- Informs proper departments of inventory discrepancies and other inventory problems or concerns.
Non-essential Functions
- May assist in providing customer service functions, including but not limited to answering phones, expediting and resolving customer service issues
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
- Two-year business/trade degree or the equivalent in work experience.
- Prior electrical distribution experience with good knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
- Good working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Internet, email and SAP software preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication reading skills.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize.
- Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
