SUMMARY:
The Retail Supervisor-Hotel will run the day to day operations and staffing for the Links Shop, The Gift Shop and Carolina Ladies Shop in the Carolina Hotel. This person will serve as the primary retail contact in the hotel and be responsible for leading and directing all retail sales, inventories and incentives. This person is also responsible for aiding in the merchandising and visual displays for both outlets with the Visual Merchandiser.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required and a minimum of 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Motivate the team to achieve sales goals and celebrate successes.
• Responsible for maintaining staff schedules and changes in Links Shop, Gift Shop and Ladies Shop.
• Responsible for requesting year round product mixes in all shops as well as maintaining all window visual displays.
• Train staff on proper standards of operations and continuing customer service growth.
• Maintain stock levels on core merchandise.
• Coordinate and conduct all period end inventories for each location.
• Handle all Customer Service needs and issues for each location.
• Perform other retail duties as assigned.
• Serve as Retail MOD for all retail as scheduled.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will supervise 10-15 retail employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing customer concerns and resolving problems.
