Job Description:
Easter Seals currently has an opening for an RN for our Adolescent Residential Program located in Manchester NH. The Easter Seals Adolescent Residential Program is designed for males and females from ages 5 to 21 with psychological/emotional or neurological disabilities including pervasive developmental disorders, nonverbal learning disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.
Responsibilities: In this role you will provide support to client admissions as well as provide case management services to clients with complex medical needs.
Admission support includes review of medical documents to determine if the program can meet the medical needs of a potential client.
You will also provide case management to clients with complex medical needs. You will have frequent check in with clients, track data and critical incidents, consult with medical specialists and coordinate with medical providers.
You will support the nursing department with other nursing duties as required.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an active unencumbered RN license, with 3+ years of experience, preferably with some experience in Psychiatric and Med/Surgical units; or one year of nursing experience with 2 years’ experience working in a residential facility or with psychiatric experience. Excellent assessment, triage, communication and prioritizing skills are a must.
This position requires a criminal and motor vehicle background check.
Hours: Part Time 24 hours per week.
